Unplug to Reconnect Campaign Launched
Campaign Launch: “Digital Detox – Unplug to Reconnect”
A Canada-Wide Call to Reduce Screen Time and Reclaim Real Life
Across Canada, teenagers and young adults are spending more time online than ever before. Whether it’s TikTok trends in Toronto, gaming in Calgary, or Snapchat streaks in St. John’s, digital dependency is rising—and it’s taking a toll.
Recent studies show Canadian youth spend an average of 7–9 hours daily on screens, not including school or work. Experts are linking this overuse to increased anxiety, poor sleep, weakened attention spans, and a decline in meaningful social interactions. Parents, educators, and health professionals across the country are raising concerns—but so far, real action has been limited.
That’s why Back4Good.ca – Talent for Canada is proud to launch a powerful new campaign:
🌿
Digital Detox – Unplug to Reconnect
