Title: Mechanical Electrical Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and devices, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, creativity in problem-solving, and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze mechanical and thermal systems to identify improvements or solutions to engineering challenges.

Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD tools.

Create and test prototypes to validate design concepts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans.

Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring designs are accurately translated into final products.

Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario or eligibility to obtain it.

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and materials science.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:

Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or energy.

Familiarity with thermal and fluid systems.

Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Work Environment: This position is based in Toronto and may require occasional travel to client sites or manufacturing facilities. The role involves both office-based design work and on-site supervision during the implementation phases.
